What is ARQ SPAIN?
ARQ Spain is an exclusive annual publication that highlights the best of architecture in Spain, showcasing the most outstanding studios and architects of the year.
This work, available in both print and digital multimedia formats, combines the talent of designers and communicators to offer a detailed and creative look at the most innovative trends and projects in the country's architectural field.

The aim of this editorial work is to highlight excellence and originality in Spanish architecture, becoming a reference for professionals and enthusiasts of the sector.
ARQ SPAIN Annual Format and Participating Architecture Studios
While it’s true that the release of ARQ SPAIN is usually annual, this latest edition includes the best architectural projects from all of 2023 and 2024.
This latest edition is characterized by its square format and extensive 487 pages, where you will find the most outstanding, unique, and distinctive projects from architecture studios in Spain, including:

ARQ SPAIN 2023 – 2024 Presentation in Valencia
Another special feature of the ARQ SPAIN architecture yearbook is its presentation format.
In 2024, the 23-24 edition launch was celebrated with a grand event at the Veles e Vents Building in Valencia, where, over two days, the architecture studios selected for the annual and invited Spanish architects gathered.
The event began with a welcome reception from the authorities of the Valencian Community in the Crystal Hall of the Valencia City Hall on September 19, 2024, followed by the main presentation event on September 20 at the Veles e Vents Building.
Throughout September 20, several presentations from architecture studios took place, covering sector news, project construction details, tailored solutions for unique projects, new trends, and more.
More specifically, some of the presentations held in 2024 were:
- Adoras Atelier Arquitectura – The Uninhabitable Machine
- EM & A Arquitectos Asociados – Intervention in 20th Century Cultural Heritage
- L’AURA ORTÍN Architecture for Happiness – Limbic Architecture: What Space for What Emotion?
- Lecoc Arquitectura – Healing Architecture, Healthcare Architecture: Oran Project, Algeria
- Mas Millet Arquitectura y Urbanismo – Architecture and Its Influence on Social Interaction
- Octavio Mestre Arquitectos – Architecture, Text, and Context
In addition to the presentations, the event featured a photo booth, a video report of all the talks, a personalized interview with each architect, and a later discussion on Sustainable Architecture from Present to Future.
To conclude the event, there was a networking space where all the architecture studios could exchange ideas and contacts.
GodoPools’ Participation in ARQ SPAIN
This latest edition of ARQ SPAIN featured GodoPools both in the annual (page 434) and in the event and talks.
In fact, GodoPools’ CEO, Francisco Gómez, had the opportunity to give a presentation on New Wellness Trends in Water Architecture.
The presentation focused on:
- Key elements every spa must have – essential areas
- Why we call something a spa when it’s not
- Highlighted trends in the most exclusive wellness areas
- New developments for wellness centers (with therapists)
