The spa at Alanda Marbella Hotel, located in one of the city’s most exclusive areas near Puente Romano, has been conceived as a wellness space seamlessly integrated into the experience of a five-star hotel.

The project creates a complete wellness circuit centred around water and thermal contrast. The hydrotherapy area features a range of massage systems, submerged seating and water features, complemented by a cold plunge pool that introduces temperature contrast as part of the wellness journey.

The circuit also includes a hammam, sauna and sensory shower, creating a sequence of spaces where temperature, water and steam come together to encourage relaxation. Carefully considered ambient lighting enhances each area while highlighting the different materials and textures.

Indoor planting, timber and neutral-toned finishes bring warmth to the space, while a dedicated relaxation area extends the experience beyond the water circuit. The result is an Architecture of Water and Wellness project conceived as a calm retreat within the hotel, where design, functionality and wellbeing become part of a seamless experience.
