Mediterranean Stripe Project

The idea behind this project was for the client to be able to walk around the edge of the swimming pool with the sensation of paddling, as if you were walking along the seashore… There is also an area fitted out with massaging water spouts.

Execution of the project:

A sandy coloured limestone, model Val’dessere, was used on the surround.  The format of the stone was 1.00 m x 0.80 m, with a slight slope downwards into the pool so that the stone is partly submerged, thus achieving the effect of the seashore all around its perimeter.  Taking advantage of the outstanding views, an infinity overflow was built on one side of the pool.

The finish used was SICIS Slate. The peculiarity of this project was the personalised decor of the same brand, in which a “stripe” border combining 4 different colours from the Orchis series alternates with a floral decor in a shade of blue, also from the Orchis series.

The jets and pool accessories were stainless steel AISI-316L with a polished finish.  For the lighting, low energy LED colour-changing spotlights with RGB remote control were used.
