Platinum Project

Optical fibre lighting.

A spectacular pool to enjoy at night with optical fibre lighting and multicolour finish. In this project two pools are combined such that the higher pool overflows into the lower pool down a water ramp. The finish of this pool is quite unusual, as it combines up to 7 different kinds of colours (3 mixed, 2 shaded and 2 plain tones) from the SICIS brand.

To differentiate each colour line, a border of 12 Platinum model tesserae mosaics from the Colibri series was fitted. This design was personalised and exclusive to the project. A flamed finish Black Slate with rounded exposed edges was laid on the pool surround. Pool lighting and finishes: the jets and accessories were made of stainless steel AISI-316L (ASTRAPOOL) with a polished finish. Part of the decorative lighting was achieved with 12mm linear optical fibre.

This linear illumination was installed in the middle of the Platinum tesserae border that separates the different mixes and shades.
